Job Summary: We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant with experience in acquiring raw materials for footwear, responsible for supplier evaluation, order tracking, and inventory management. Negotiation with suppliers for favorable terms Education: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field Ability to work under pressure Gender: Female or Male **MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN PURCHASING RAW MATERIALS FOR FOOTWEAR MANUFACTURING** * **Supplier Evaluation and Selection**: The purchasing assistant is responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, comparing prices, quality, and delivery terms to ensure optimal cost\-benefit ratio. * **Purchase Order Preparation**: Must prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers promptly, ensuring all documentation is accurate. * **Order Tracking**: Monitors order status to ensure products arrive on time and under agreed conditions, preventing delays that could impact production. * **Inventory Management**: Maintains up-to-date records of inventory levels, avoiding both stockouts and overstocking—critical for the company’s operational continuity. * **Supplier Negotiation**: Participates in price and favorable-term negotiations with suppliers, potentially generating significant cost savings for the company. * **Interdepartmental Collaboration**: Works closely with other departments—including accounting and logistics—to coordinate goods receipt and payment, as well as to resolve any discrepancies that may arise.
