




The Quality Engineer manages Process, Product, Equipment, and Machinery releases by correctly using APQP forms. Validates the preparation of PPAP documentation and ensures compliance with customer specifications. **EDUCATION REQUIRED:** Completed professional degree: Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering English 80% (Mandatory) **EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES:** Computer software packages: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Proven experience in the position: minimum 1 year in harnesses (automotive +) Proficiency in measurement equipment and systems Problem-solving analysis techniques: 8D’s, 5 Whys, Ishikawa / Cause-and-Effect Diagram, Poke Yoke’s, Red X, DOE’s Responsible, committed, and available **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND AUTHORITY OF THE POSITION:** First-time PPAP approval with the customer Early participation in transfers to define process and product controls Administration, compliance, and follow-up of AQP forms for NPIs and transfers Administration of trackers as applicable Management of corrective actions related to PPAP rejections Administration and compliance with PSO for NPIs and transfers Proposals for continuous improvement under PDCA Compliance with the PDCA plan according to established dates Follow-up on GP-12 and Zero Customer Complaints for NPIs and transfers within 30 business days after PPAP **KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION’S FUNCTIONS:** PPAP administration according to customer requirements Responsible for obtaining PPAP approval from the customer Administration of Process Release (PSO) and Equipment / Machinery Release prior to PPAP runs for NPIs, ECNs, and transfers Review of specific requirements in transfers and ensuring controls are in place before transfer Validation of Risk Assessments classified as High Risk Administration of control plans and ensuring effective controls exist for CTQs Authority to stop the process or halt shipments if any nonconformity exists in the process or product Coordination of corrective action meetings with the NPI team regarding PPAP rejections Administration of AQP documents and quality system documents related to Quality Assurance; attendance at APQP meetings for NPIs and Transfers Daily administration of trackers as applicable Auditing of product inspection activities (PPAPs, Prototypes, Service Parts) Administration and supervision of human resources under their responsibility Preparation of monthly presentations with corresponding actions Administration of corrective actions arising from documents under their responsibility Continuous improvement of departmental and plant indicators Position type: Full-time Salary: $1.00 - $2.00 per day Work location: On-site employment
