Job Summary: CNC press brake operator for shaping sheet metal components, ensuring precision and repeatability in interpreting drawings and programming the machine. Key Highlights: 1. Configure and operate CNC press brake with precision 2. Interpret engineering drawings and program the machine 3. Responsible for quality and safety during operation Configure and operate the CNC press brake (bending machine) to shape sheet metal components according to angles, radii, and dimensions specified in drawings, ensuring process precision and repeatability. Responsibilities: * \-Interpret engineering drawings to understand bending sequence, angles, and dimensions. * \-Select, install, and align appropriate tooling (punches and dies) * Program the machine (at the machine or by loading programs), setting angles, stops, and sequences. * Produce and measure a test part, then make adjustments for release. * Operate the machine safely and productively * Perform self-quality control on produced parts * Perform basic autonomous machine maintenance Accountabilities: * Responsible for producing parts meeting angular and dimensional tolerances specified in drawings. * Responsible for operational safety, ensuring proper functioning of safety sensors. * Responsible for care and good condition of assigned tooling and machinery. * Responsible for reporting any process failure or inconsistency. Authorities: * Authorized to stop production if parts fall outside specifications. * Authorized to request sharpening or replacement of damaged tools. Job Requirements: * Education: High school diploma or technical degree * Experience: Minimum 2 years operating CNC press brakes * Knowledge: Engineering drawing interpretation, metrology (use of protractor, vernier caliper), knowledge of bending tooling * Skills: Attention to detail, mathematical ability, concentration (Salary negotiable based on your skills and knowledge) Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $11,800\.00 \- $12,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Company parking * Flexible working hours * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms Work Location: On-site employment
