Screen Printer (with experience)

Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a screen printing operator to perform the complete printing process—from design and screen preparation to drying, curing, and quality control. Key Highlights: 1. Participates in the entire screen printing cycle, from design to finishing. 2. Ensures print quality and equipment maintenance. 3. Prepares designs, screens, and printing materials. Main Responsibilities: * **Design Preparation** * Adapt files to the required printing format. * Perform color separation when the design requires it. * **Screen Preparation** * Coat the mesh with emulsion. * Expose the design onto the screen. * Rinse and dry the screen. * **Material Preparation** * Place garments or substrates (t-shirts, bags, cardboard, plastic, glass, etc.). * Adjust registration and alignment. * **Printing Process** * Apply ink using the squeegee. * Control pressure, angle, and repeatability. * Monitor print quality. * **Drying and Curing** * Use a drying tunnel or heat press. * Verify proper ink fixation. * **Quality Control** * Inspect for stains, misalignments, or defects. * Maintain cleanliness of tools and work area. * **Maintenance** * Clean screens. * Recover frames. * Maintain machinery and inks.
