Job Summary: We are seeking a Customs Classifier to analyze goods, justify decisions before authorities, and mitigate risks in domestic and international logistics. Key Highlights: 1. Justifying classification criteria before audits and authorities *In our* ***domestic and international logistics company****, tariff classification is a critical point for the legal and tax security of each operation.* *We are looking for a* ***Customs Classifier*** *with solid technical judgment, capable of analyzing goods, justifying decisions before authorities, and reducing risks such as fines, corrections, and PAMA.* **Key Responsibilities:** * Assign tariff classifications in accordance with the TIGIE (General Import and Export Tax Tariff) and the Harmonized System. * Verify and apply Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions. * Accurately determine foreign trade contributions. * Provide technical support to traffic, customs valuation, and customs clearance. * Justify classification criteria before audits and authorities. **Technical Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. * Minimum 2 years of experience in tariff classification. * Experience in a customs brokerage firm or freight forwarder is desirable. * Knowledge of TIGIE, General Rules, Customs Law, and Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA). **Competencies:** * Analytical thinking and attention to detail. * Research capability and technical justification skills. * Organization and ability to work under pressure. * Ethics, responsibility, and confidentiality. * Effective communication and teamwork. **We Offer:** * **Salary:** Between $30,000 and $35,000 MXN per month, based on experience * **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM * **Statutory benefits** from day one. * **Benefits exceeding statutory requirements**, including: * Year-end bonus above the legal minimum. * Food vouchers worth $2,000/month * Savings fund.
