We are looking for your talent, join our team and start your journey today! **Description** Level 1 Specialized Maintenance Technician with experience in the metalworking industry. Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent, the maintenance technician will be responsible for leading a work team, performing general maintenance tasks on process equipment and facilities on time and as required, complying with scheduled preventive maintenance plans, proposing improvements to our processes, adding value through their activities, improving performance and increasing operational efficiency. All work will be performed in accordance with Copeland Guadalajara's safety rules and regulations. **Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment in the following areas: + electronics/electrical + mechanical + pneumatic * Ensure that equipment is in safe working condition. * Perform routine readings of input meters and equipment. * Analyze failure modes weekly, proposing improvements to eliminate and minimize recurrences. Respond quickly in case of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols. * **Requirements** * Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar. * 1 year of experience in the industry in electrical/mechanical/pneumatic maintenance and automated equipment with PLC in the metalworking sector. * Basic knowledge in interpreting electrical diagrams. * KNOWLEDGE OF MACHINES AND TOOLS * KNOWLEDGE OF MECHANICS AND SOLUTIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT (SCREW/SCROLL COMPRESSORS/DRYERS/CHILLERS, INGERSOLL RAND, ATLAS COPCO AND GARDEN DENVER) * KNOWLEDGE OF AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDING MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS. * KNOWLEDGE OF WELDING EQUIPMENT WITH LASER TECHNOLOGY AND SOLUTIONS * KNOWLEDGE OF HELIUM LEAK DETECTORS INFICON EQUIPMENT AND SOLUTIONS Desired * KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT WITH PLC (ALLEN BRADLEY SIMMENS) AND PROVIDING SOLUTIONS IN FAILURE MODE DETECTION. Desired KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO PROVIDE SOLUTIONS FOR FAILURES IN ATMOSPHERE GENERATORS, HYDROGEN\& NITROGEN. Desired * * KNOWLEDGE OF FURNACE CONTROLLERS AND PROVISION OF SOLUTIONS FOR THEIR FAILURE MODES FOR (THERMOCOUPLES/ DEW POINT/ ATMOSPHERE ANALYZER) * BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ALLEN BRADLEY PLC. * Electronic/electrical/pneumatic diagrams and symbols. * Knowledge and use of machines and tools (electrical/mechanical/pneumatic) * Problem-solving ability and sense of urgency. * Teamwork and ease of interaction with coworkers * Ability and experience leading a work team to perform maintenance in the production plant under time response pressure. * Propose improvement projects for cost reduction. * Availability to rotate shifts, \-day/night\- and \-weekdays/weekends **Onsite Work Arrangement:** This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities. **Our Commitment To Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
