This role is ideal for a strong SAP ABAP developer who is ready to expand into cloud‑based platforms, modern development practices, and DevOps workflows. The Cloud Systems Developer will design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions while actively learning and applying cloud technologies—preferably Microsoft Azure—and GitHub‑based source control and CI/CD practices. This position plays a key role in the modernization of our SAP landscape, bridging traditional SAP development with cloud‑native and hybrid architectures. In addition to hands‑on development, this role will help guide ABAP development standards and practices across a global team, ensuring high‑quality, scalable, and supportable solutions for our customers. Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and cloud‑integrated SAP solutions is a strong plus.**Key Responsibilities*** Design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP, including custom programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements. * Contribute to the evolution of SAP systems toward cloud‑enabled and hybrid architectures. * Learn, adopt, and apply cloud development concepts, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. * Develop and support integrations between SAP systems and cloud‑based services. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAP and cloud‑connected environments. * Perform unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality, performance, and reliability. * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (platform, security, infrastructure, and application teams) to deliver integrated solutions. * Ensure development aligns with SAP standards, internal governance, and modern engineering best practices. * Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on ABAP standards and modern development approaches. * Optimize and enhance existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and user experience. * Create and maintain technical documentation including designs, test plans, and operational documentation. * Participate in GitHub‑based source control and CI/CD pipelines for SAP and cloud‑integrated solutions. * Develop and maintain enterprise‑level applications using SAP BTP, including SAP HANA and SAP Fiori. * Configure and customize SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP API Management, and SAP Workflow. **Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 8\+ years of SAP ABAP development experience. * Strong understanding of SAP development methodologies, standards, and best practices. * Experience working on complex SAP environments with multiple modules and integrations. * Demonstrated interest in learning and working with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure. * Experience with or willingness to adopt Git‑based development, preferably using GitHub. * Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot across systems. * Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet delivery timelines. * Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global, team‑oriented environment. * Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus. * Experience with cloud‑based or hybrid SAP environments is a plus. * Exposure to additional technologies such as .NET, Java, SQL, APIs, or DevOps tooling is a plus. * Experience with SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori is a plus. **Why This Role** This role is ideal for an experienced ABAP developer who wants to grow into cloud engineering, modern development practices, and enterprise‑scale cloud systems—while continuing to leverage deep SAP expertise.**What We Offer:** Our employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
