The ideal candidate is a "hands\-on" developer who masters the Java ecosystem and feels comfortable working on the business logic layer of scalable applications. We seek someone who not only writes code that works, but also maintainable, tested, and efficient code—actively participating in the software development lifecycle and ensuring integrations are seamless and robust. **What would your responsibilities be?** * Develop and maintain efficient and secure REST APIs. * Ensure every new feature includes its corresponding automated test suite. * Collaborate with the frontend team to align data contracts defined in design tools. * Resolve bugs and optimize existing processes in the database and server-side logic. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering or related field. * 3 to 5 years of hands-on backend development experience. * Solid experience building microservices using **Java** and **Spring Boot**. * Proficient use of **PostgreSQL**: table design, relationships, and efficient queries. * Daily use of **Linux** (command-line interface, file management, and basic server navigation). * Practical experience applying **TDD (Test Driven Development)** as part of daily workflow. * Strong knowledge of unit testing with **JUnit**; understanding the difference between unit tests, integration tests, and end\-to\-end tests. * Ability to translate complex user stories into functional technical solutions without constant supervision. * Commitment to development best practices (Clean Code) and constructive code reviews. * Ability to work in dynamic environments and understand the importance of delivery timelines without compromising stability. **What do we offer?** * Monthly salary between $30,000 and $38,000, depending on qualifications. * Results-oriented work environment—not measured by hours worked. * Hybrid work model (3 days remote). * Flexible working hours. * Paid time off. * Statutory benefits.
