JOB SUMMARY: This position participates in the launch of new products to manufacturing by following the Product Launch Process. This individual interfaces with functional managers and project team members from all organizations within Stoneridge TED (TED de Mexico). Supports and complies with ISO 14001\-2004, IATF 16949:2016, and the internal quality system. To fulfill the roles and responsibilities related to the protection of the environment. Note: this position falls under the same classification as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Operations/Production group of Stoneridge TED. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* Develop and update the Procedure according IATF 16949 and Requirements Customer Specific. Documents such as * PFMEA, Reverse FMEA, MSA, process capability, Error proofing device, Master List Verification (Red Rabbits), MOIs (Work Instruction), Sanity Check (FD, PFMEA, PCP), * Participate \& Document process improvements related to OEE, FTQ, Scrap, downtime * Deploy and training of the Intern Procedures updated or development for team members of Focus Factories. * Planning, perform, and execution of engineering changes such as Layout movements, new machine introduction, process changes, etc * Participation and collaboration during Internal and external Audits such IATF certification, BIQ (GM certification), MSA (Ford certification), etc * Support to develop process documentation at launch critical products * Perform LPA as scheduled. EDUCATION:* Preferably bachelor degree in engineering; Mechanical or Mechatronic is preferred or equivalent in experience EXPERIENCE:* Experience in a Engineering / Operations environment KNOWLEDGE: * Bilingual in English and Spanish * Knowledge in design for manufacturing \& testing * IATF 16949 is a plus SOFT COMPETENCES* Requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills * Ser interactivo y trabajar bien en equipo. * Ability to work under pressure, must meet frequent deadlines * coordinating multi\-disciplined teams and working with multiple projects HARD COMPETENCES (Preferred)* Core Tools. * Solid Works * AutoCAD * VDA 6\.3 * Knowledge CQI * Knowledge in electronic assembly and final assembly experience needed. * Knowledge Lean Mfg. \& Six Sigma * Microsoft Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
