Autonomous work within a multidisciplinary team Axkan, in strategic alliance with **Inovacor**, is seeking a **Software Engineer** with experience in .NET environments to work on existing industrial software projects and develop new functionalities. **Job Function** The candidate will collaborate with technical and project teams to understand client requirements, maintain and improve desktop applications, and ensure correct software-hardware integration. This role requires the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team primarily focused on hardware and physical systems. **Main Responsibilities** · Maintain and support existing applications: fix bugs, optimize performance, and adapt functionality according to project requirements. · Develop new features applying best practices and design patterns to ensure clean and maintainable code. · Integrate software with industrial equipment (PLCs and other devices) using standard protocols for data exchange. · Work with relational databases and generate automated reports based on client needs. · Design and maintain efficient user interfaces for desktop applications. · Implement solutions that safely and efficiently handle concurrency and asynchronous operations. · Prepare basic technical documentation and participate in system integration testing. · Demonstrate proactivity and the ability to independently research and resolve technical issues. **Essential Requirements** · **Minimum 2 years of experience developing in C\# and .NET (NET Framework 4\+ or later).** · **Minimum 1 year of experience working with WPF or another UI development framework**, applying architectures that separate the user interface from business logic. · Knowledge of **concurrency and asynchrony**, including basic thread handling and best practices to avoid *race conditions*. · Experience working with **relational databases** (MySQL, SQL Server, or others) and SQL queries. · Experience using **version control with Git**. · Ability to work **autonomously**, with a focus on problem-solving in industrial environments. **Desirable Requirements** · Basic knowledge of **industrial communication protocols** (e.g., Modbus TCP/RTU) or experience integrating applications with PLC devices. · Experience working with **industrial camera SDKs** or other data acquisition devices. · Experience using **.NET libraries for charting or reporting**. · Knowledge of **unit/integration testing** and continuous integration practices.
