




Job Summary: The Sampling Assistant supports the technician in collecting food, surface, and water samples from establishments, requiring good physical condition. Key Highlights: 1. Supports sample collection in diverse environments. 2. No prior sampling experience required. 3. Good physical condition and ability to access hard-to-reach locations are valued. Sampling personnel are responsible for collecting food, living surface, inert surface, environmental, tap water, swimming pool water, cistern water, and seawater samples at various enterprises served by the Laboratory. The Sampling Assistant assists the Sampling Technician in collecting the various samples required for the service requested by the establishment. Requirements: - Completed high school education, current student, or technical degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or food science. - Experience (not required) in food, seawater, drinking water in general, or wastewater/supply water sampling. - Good physical condition and overall health. (Equipment for sample collection and transport must be carried to the establishment.) - Ability to collect samples from hard-to-reach locations Skills: Organization, planning, execution of goals and objectives, application of logic.
