Job Summary: Responsible for managing the procurement process, from requisition to supplier evaluation, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Manage the full procurement and purchasing cycle. 2. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms. 3. Ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines. RESPONSIBILITIES \- Ensure that purchase requisitions from each department are pre-approved by respective department managers, thereby guaranteeing that all goods and services acquired are essential to the organization's operations. \- Plan purchases of spare parts in coordination with the maintenance supervisor, based on purchase orders issued to suppliers. \- Request quotations for goods and/or services from suppliers previously registered in the supplier catalog or from external suppliers, seeking the most competitive pricing, required quality for the goods and/or services, warranties, and lead time. \- Present quotation proposals to the relevant management team and select the best supplier based on established supplier selection criteria. \- Issue the purchase order once the supplier is selected, request authorization signature from management, and proceed with the correct acquisition of goods and/or services. \- Follow up with each supplier regarding registered purchases in the procurement tracking log to ensure timely delivery of goods and/or services, adhering to agreed-upon timelines. \- Ensure receipt of goods and/or services matches information from the requisition and purchase order, verifying that delivered items conform to specifications outlined in the requisition. \- Physically deliver the purchase order and proof of receipt to the Controller’s Office to initiate payment scheduling. Conduct supplier evaluations upon completion of each purchase. \- Monitor and record procurement department performance indicators to achieve annual objectives established at the beginning of the year.
