CIRCLE K is looking for a Regional Financial Controller with experience in the retail sector to lead the planning, execution, and analysis of financial information for our operations. The primary objective is to identify variances and areas of opportunity that drive continuous improvement in stores, zones, and regions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. **Requirements:** Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Experience: 7 years in similar positions, preferably in the retail sector. Technical Skills: Accounting, administration, controller functions, advanced Excel, SAP (desirable). Personal Competencies: Organization, honesty, integrity, adaptability to change, leadership, decision-making. **Main Responsibilities:** Inventory and Asset Management: Supervise physical inventory counts in stores and fixed asset control. Ensure compliance with the physical inventory schedule. Verify transfers between stores and distribution centers. Financial and Budgetary Analysis: Analyze store returns to distribution centers and suppliers. Evaluate shrinkage reports in stores. Financially manage results of stores and distribution centers. Prepare and control the regional operational expense budget. Revenue Control: Analyze delayed deposits in stores. Conduct selective cash counts in stores. Manage bank reference changes by agents. Control agent and Panamericano cash in the region. Analyze discrepancies between invoices and orders. Legal and Compliance Management: Administer and follow up on lease agreements. Ensure timely payments of renewals, permits, and licenses. Manage files for insurance claims. Follow up on litigation portfolio. Accounting Policies and Procedures: Ensure application of business rules and policies in the region. Control processes related to cash and merchandise. **Other Functions:** Conduct regular visits to zones to supervise store controls. Participate in physical inventories according to defined processes. Ensure internal control points.
