**Web Developer – Liferay** **Location:** Mexico City, Venustiano Carranza (Moctezuma 2nd Section neighborhood) **Work Mode:** Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM **Salary:** $65,000 MXN net per month (mixed scheme, $20,000 on payroll) **Job Description** We are seeking a **Web Developer specialized in Liferay** to join a technical team focused on developing high-impact enterprise web solutions. This role actively participates in architecture definition, code quality assurance, and project execution using agile methodologies, aligning technology with business objectives. **Responsibilities** * Analyze functional and technical requirements together with technical and business teams. * Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using **Liferay 7 or higher**. * Implement websites following **HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript** standards. * Ensure proper implementation of **Liferay Cloud (Workflows)** from development through production. * Collaborate under **agile methodologies (Scrum)** with the Product Owner and Technical Lead. * Review, optimize, and correct team code to ensure quality and best practices. * Identify and communicate key architectural challenges during sprints. * Align each sprint’s development with the organization’s technological architecture. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Intermediate-to-advanced English. * **Minimum 3 years of web development experience with Liferay**. * Proven experience with **Liferay 7 or higher**. * Proficiency in **JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, jQuery, and JSON**. * Experience with **Bootstrap and/or YUI3**. * Knowledge and application of the **MVC pattern**. * Consumption of **SOAP and REST Web Services**. * Experience with **Liferay Developer Studio, Layout Templates, and Themes**. * Proven experience with **Liferay Cloud (Workflows)**. * Use of development tools such as **Git, Visual Studio Code, Jira, and Confluence**. * Knowledge of application servers: **WebLogic, Apache, and Liferay Portal**. * Experience with **UML**. * Knowledge of **computing infrastructure and telecommunications**. * Familiarity with **Google Analytics, SEO, and email marketing**. **Desirable** * Experience with **React**. **We Offer** * Salary of **$65,000 MXN net per month**. * Hybrid work arrangement. * 12 vacation days. * 25% vacation bonus. * 15-day year-end bonus. * Job stability. * Participation in high-impact technology projects.
