IT Assistant (Support)

Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Assistant to join our team, providing technical support, infrastructure maintenance, and collaboration on IT projects. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration on Information Technology projects We are looking for your experience and talent to join our team as an IT Assistant, where you will perform the following activities: REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. - 1 year of experience in a similar position ACTIVITIES: - Provide on-site or remote Level 1 corporate support. - Provide technical assistance and ensure optimal performance of communication equipment (VoIP, Data, CISCO, Meraki) and CCTV, biometric, landline and mobile telephony, PCs, servers, and laptops. - Liaise with IT vendors in the absence of the IT Coordinator. - Track and manage payments to IT vendors. - Perform software and hardware installation and updates across the IT infrastructure. - Respond on-site during power supply contingencies and communication link failures. - Generate and update inventories of computing equipment / applications / custody records / MET. - Collaborate on Information Technology projects. - Conduct preventive maintenance programs. - Perform preventive and logical maintenance of equipment. - Provide assistance and support in general area documentation (folders). - Monitor voice and data links to ensure optimal performance.
