Job Summary: We are seeking a Plastic Injection Mold Technician with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, mold repair, hot runner systems repair, and machining skills. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds. 2. Knowledge of grinding, milling, lathe, CNC, and welding. 3. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work with geometric tolerances. **\*EXPERIENCE IN:** PLASTIC INJECTION MOLD TECHNICIAN **KNOWLEDGE:** • Operation of grinding, milling, lathe, and CNC processes; fine mold adjustments; polishing; mold component fabrication and spare parts production. • Interpretation of engineering drawings and knowledge of geometric tolerances; understanding of mold manufacturing and repair processes. • Mirror-finish mold polishing. • Hot runner systems. • Welding process operation; forming geometries and sealing adjustments using hand tools (e.g., moto-tool, reciprocating file, fitting files, etc). **REQUIRED SOFTWARE:** Teamwork. Availability. Customer service. Sense of urgency. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:** 1\. Perform preventive mold maintenance according to the annual schedule. 2\. Assist the Mold Supervisor/Manager as required during mold maintenance activities. 3\. Assemble and disassemble molds for cleaning, repair, or engineering changes. 4\. Support production in corrective actions and mold-related service issues. 5\. Perform and document preventive and corrective mold maintenance. 6\. Request mold spare parts as applicable. 7\. Repair hot runner systems. 8\. Perform adaptations on new or transferred molds. 9\. Conduct in-machine repairs. 10\. Perform other assigned or required tasks. 11\. Serve as a role model in attitude and willingness to perform duties. 12\. Record work orders completed during the shift in the designated format.
