




Job Summary: This Level 3 Infrastructure Support role is a senior technical contributor responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient infrastructure operations. Key Highlights: 1. The Level 3 Infrastructure Support role is responsible for supporting primary site infrastructure, including virtual farms, operating systems, database virtual machines, and related site IT infrastructure requirements. This role acts as a senior technical collaborator and strategic partner to central IT teams, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient infrastructure operations. The individual will proactively monitor infrastructure health, lead resolution of complex issues, implement new hardware, and drive continuous improvements aligned with business and IT strategy. Experience with monitoring tools and ITSM processes, including incident and change management (e.g., iCinga, Cherwell). Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and storage technologies. Solid knowledge of virtual machine lifecycle management and server virtualization. Advanced experience in managing and troubleshooting virtual environments (VMware). Strong communication skills with ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Proficiency in English and Spanish. Experience supporting industrial or manufacturing IT environments is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, system administration, or application/infrastructure engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). Lead Post-Incident Reviews (PIR), Control Chart (CC) story reviews, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), ensuring documentation, implementation, and follow-up of corrective actions. Participate in infrastructure modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure compliance with operational metrics such as uptime, SLA adherence, and security requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize infrastructure reliability, performance, and availability. Independently resolve complex infrastructure issues using advanced technical knowledge and minimal supervision. Drive infrastructure investment planning and coordinate changes, identifying risks and closing execution gaps. Serve as the primary liaison with local site management to align priorities, communicate Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) strategies, and support key initiatives. Ensure infrastructure components comply with corporate security and compliance standards, including patching, hardening, and security configurations. Collaborate with central IT teams to reduce technical debt (legacy systems) and drive process and technology improvements to enhance site resilience and efficiency. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to implement, update, and maintain infrastructure components. Interact with central infrastructure teams to monitor, analyze, and resolve alerts and ticket trends, identifying and remediating systemic issues. Perform daily activities related to virtual machine provisioning, server hardware deployment, and infrastructure maintenance. Proactively monitor and review infrastructure status to identify performance, capacity, and availability issues across virtual farms, virtual machines, networks, storage, and site IT systems.
