




Job Summary: We are seeking a Process Engineer to optimize and develop processes in the chemical and/or food industry, ensuring quality and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Promote continuous improvement and apply lean manufacturing We require a 'Process Engineer specialized in the Food and/or Chemical Industry'. Salary: $15,630.00 gross per month. Essential Requirements: - Education: Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering / Biochemical Engineering / Food Engineering or related field. (GRADUATED or DEGREE HOLDER) - Minimum 3 years of experience in the chemical and/or food industry. - Specialized knowledge of AutoCAD. - Language: Intermediate English (reading comprehension) Responsibilities: • Develop a strategic analysis plan for a specific process with the aim of optimizing it • Execute the developed strategic plan. • Verify and ensure the proper operation of process machinery and equipment. • Interact with personnel responsible for a given production process during the performance of their duties. • Ensure correct operation to achieve the desired quality of all manufactured products. • Promote and implement continuous improvement. • Apply lean manufacturing tools. • Execute improvement and process plans. • Issue reports, analyze results, and generate R&D reports. • Comply with and enforce process manuals. • Comply with and enforce GMPs. • Comply with and enforce established food safety standards. • Execute and comply with safety plans. • Determine operational parameters for equipment and processes that ensure production and maintain employee safety. • Design or redesign processes and/or equipment to optimize process capacity. • Interact with external suppliers and/or specialists who support and assist in the development of a process and/or equipment. • Scale-up of new processes • Apply lean manufacturing tools: Time optimization and reduction of process costs • Monitor development of new projects • Material and energy balance calculations • Ensure proper operation of process equipment: Verification, maintenance tracking, and correct specifications. • Development of new processes at laboratory scale. • R&D reports to improve existing processes.
