Position Summary: Ensure the continuous and effective operation of the Security Operations Center by coordinating and training the monitoring team to respond to incidents and protect people and facilities. Training and continuous improvement of monitoring operations **GENERAL POSITION OBJECTIVE** Ensure the continuous and effective operation of the Security Operations Center by coordinating, supervising, and training the monitoring team to detect, prevent, and respond promptly to security incidents. Guarantee that established procedures are followed and that event reports are accurate, concise, and immediate, in order to protect people, facilities, and the company's assets. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervise and coordinate the SOC monitoring team to ensure compliance with security procedures and proper operation of video surveillance systems. * Monitor video surveillance systems, alarms, and other security devices in real time, ensuring immediate detection and response to incidents. * Respond to security incidents according to established protocols, managing communication with field personnel and emergency response teams. * Prepare detailed incident and security event reports, maintaining accurate records and documenting actions taken for future audits or investigations. * Train and evaluate monitoring center staff, promoting best operational practices and updating monitors on security procedures and protocols. * Maintain monitoring systems’ operational readiness, reporting any technical failures or issues to the support team for prompt resolution. * Coordinate implementation of new security policies and procedures in the monitoring center, adapting them according to organizational needs and applicable regulations. * Evaluate and improve monitoring operations’ efficiency, identifying process improvement opportunities and proposing updates to security systems or protocols. * Conduct daily reviews of security systems, verifying proper functionality of cameras, alarms, GPS software, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. * Maintain constant communication with other organizational security areas, sharing critical information and coordinating integrated responses to risk situations. * Manage monitoring center staff shifts and schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage, optimizing available human resources. **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:** Systems Engineering, Telematics Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences and Technologies, or related field.
