Job Summary: Develop automotive electromechanical/mechatronic products, ensuring quality, technical support, and coordination with multicultural teams. Key Highlights: 1. Description and details of responsibilities **Position Objective:** * Develop new electromechanical and mechatronic automotive products according to our customers' requirements. * Meet quality standards at competitive product prices. * Provide technical support to production areas. Maintain effective communication with our entities (US, Europe, and Asia) and customers. **Responsibilities:** * Design mechanical/mechatronic products in CATIA, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. * Coordinate product design reviews and specifications with other entities and customers. * Prepare component and product technical drawings in CATIA, defining tolerances (GD\&T, GPS), per international standards and Kostal Group guidelines. * Provide support to the production area regarding failure analysis, mechanical analysis, dimensional corrections, plastic materials, etc. * Support Engineering departments in developing product test plans. * Tolerance analysis. * Propose and implement engineering changes. * Evaluate the feasibility of engineering changes. * Execute engineering changes, supported by documentation and testing. * Create and update Design FMEAs. * Generate/modify information in the CIM Database (PLM); manage deliverables of the mechanical development process. * Apply quality tools for problem solving. * Report engineering hours (time allocated to projects).
