Job Summary: CIVIR Mexico is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to monitor network infrastructure, identify and escalate incidents, track tickets, and execute operational procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Continuous network infrastructure monitoring 2. Incident identification and logging 3. Timely escalation to higher-level teams (N2/N3) and ticket tracking At CIVIR Mexico, we are looking for a Junior Network Engineer to work directly with one of our key clients in the banking sector. **Requirements:** * Experience: Minimum 2 years in networking, technical support, or NOC environments * Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Systems or related degree program * Intermediate English (written and conversational) * Residency in Querétaro * Availability for on-site work **Technical Knowledge** * Fundamentals of LAN/WAN networking * Basic knowledge of routing & switching (preferably Cisco) * Understanding of wireless networks (corporate WiFi) * Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios or similar) * Basic proficiency with ticket management tools (ServiceNow or equivalent) * Fundamental concepts of ITSM / ITIL **Responsibilities** * Continuous monitoring of network infrastructure * Identification and logging of incidents * Timely escalation to higher-level teams (N2/N3) * Tracking of tickets until resolution * Execution of documented operational procedures * Support in updating inventories and documentation **Compensation and Benefits:** * Salary commensurate with experience * Statutory benefits * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * 12 vacation days * 8 paid personal days * Grocery vouchers: $300 MXN per month * Annual productivity bonus equal to 15 days of gross salary Interested candidates may apply through this channel Salary: Up to $18,000.00 MXN per month Benefits: * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Company-provided mobile phone * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
