Production inspection using measuring instruments **Position Summary** The basic operator uses a wide range of machinery and equipment, diligently following work instructions to produce high-quality products used in aircraft. Their work includes performing setups and operations on diverse machinery such as shot blasting, anodizing, deburring, painting, etc. Additionally, they perform subassemblies using rivets and similar fasteners with riveting machines or other equipment. They may also work with hand tools to remove material. They must be capable of inspecting their own production using appropriate measuring instruments for the process. **Responsibilities** **Roles and Responsibilities:** * Manufacture parts, identify operations, and record operational data * Record production in computerized systems * Demonstrate good knowledge of the shop floor, basic mathematics, and blueprint reading * Understand basic tool concepts and their applications * Work in compliance with all environmental and safety regulations * Properly and completely wear personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to the assigned work * Immediately report any unsafe conditions or practices observed * Provide suggestions based on personal experience to support continuous improvement * Use appropriate equipment to move parts, such as skates, cranes, and hoists * Fully comply with the internal work regulations * Understand and implement MABSQ’s Environmental Policy, integrating this philosophy into daily work activities * Understand and implement MABSQ’s Safety Policy, integrating this philosophy into daily work activities **Qualifications** **Education** Secondary education is required; technical studies are an advantage. **Experience** Minimum of 1 year of experience in metalworking companies is preferred. **Specific Requirements** * Interest in shop-floor activities, basic mathematics, and blueprint reading * Understanding of basic tool concepts and their usage * Understanding of basic environmental and safety regulations * Teamwork * Discipline **Competencies** **Parker Hannifin** Meggitt's Querétaro facility in Mexico contributes approximately 80% of Braking Systems’ North American structural component capacity.
