Achieve target fulfillment through sales from assigned segments; effectively supervise and correct deviations as soon as they are identified. Promote the hotel's public relations through visits to national and foreign companies; travel agencies; wholesalers and/or public officials from federal; state or municipal government. Consolidate corporate agreements signed with local responsible parties regarding rooms and food services. Develop sales and marketing plan proposal. Specify by region and/or market the respective sales quotas for the current year that Sales Managers and Sales Executives will commit to. Attend to local clients who are not fully satisfied with the service received during their stay. Guarantee guest satisfaction to retain them and encourage continued stays at the hotel. Prepare regional market evaluation. Identify opportunity areas in advance; correlating results from productive regions and markets; as well as knowledge of competing chains. Coordinate logistics for events contracted by VIP guests from the region. Finalize with internal hotel departments the special requirements contracted by the guest. Supervise that executives or hotel personnel properly enter necessary daily operational records into Hotelera Posadas' corporate systems. Ensure that daily operational results align with sales budgets; to take preventive actions allowing control over achieved results and significant events (variations) affecting market demand behavior. Evaluate sales force performance by region and/or market; validate results against service contracts and sales plans. / Train and develop staff. Periodically assess progress toward goal achievement in sold services; take corrective actions in negative cases to prevent annual revenue decline. / Maintain well-trained and qualified personnel capable of efficiently performing their duties; assuming new responsibilities and/or positions. **Physical Position of the Job** ------------------------------- Seated for most of the workday, occasionally moving across various areas **Physical Requirements of the Position** ---------------------------------- Movement via stairs or elevator is required; mostly seated.
