Brief Description The Manufacturing Engineer \& CNC Programmer is responsible for helping to drive efficiencies through process improvements and the responsible for all CNC programs for manufacturing to directly impact the overall performance objectives for the company and compliance to AS9100 and NADCAP requirements and/or division. This position significantly impacts Rexnord’s ability in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.* Utilizes key mechanical design and manufacturing principles to effectively make decisions impacting safety, product quality, delivery and cost * Reduce scrap and non\-conformances by eliminating waste and variation in all forms * Drives root cause corrective actions to reduce non\-conformances and improve flow * Optimize productivity through efficient, ergonomic and safe work station and tooling designs * Remain current in new Manufacturing Engineering technology, new manufacturing techniques and new equipment. Recommend new approaches where feasible * Lead and participate in Kaizen events based on VSM Roadmaps * Utilizes RBS tools to solve problems and continuously improve. * Promote and facilitate the use/establishment of continuous improvement tools. * Assist in developing and implementing the lean manufacturing action plans to support achievement of strategy deployment and strategic business growth. * Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist others in solving problems using problem solving tools such as DMAIC * Develop and implement manufacturing cost out projects. * Assist manufacturing and assembly associates to resolve set\-up, tooling and fixture problems, special process (heat treatment, plating and welding) and selection of proper tooling and grinding wheels. * Develop, maintain and implement process routings and set\-up instructions for the production of parts and assemblies * Ability to write programs that will machine complex parts to very close tolerances on multiple axes on various machining centers. * Horizontal Machining Centers including Macro, sub program and variable programming knowledge. * 4 axis lathes, 5 axis lathes, Y axis lathes, and Vertical Machining Centers large and small * “Shop Floor” problem solving. * Kaizen participation such as SMDE, VSM, 5s, ect... * Maintain program library's and revision status of program revisions per NADCAP requirements. * Hands on knowledge of the programs storage and the ability to assist shop associates in uploading and downloading programs Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors* BS in Engineering, or related technical field required * A minimum of three years of engineering experience working in a manufacturing plant environment * Experience in industrial technical field, programming CNC equipment is required * At least one year of experience with grinding, turning, and milling machinery * Ability to extract critical data and analyze data to make informed business decisions. * Excellent computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.) * Demonstrated proficiency in project management. * Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority * Experience with manufacturing bearings a plus * Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus * Excellent computer skills (CAD/CAM, Auto Cad, ShopCam, Solid Works, Master Cam word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.) About Regal Rexnord Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion. SUMMARY: Responsible for managing and maintaining the flow of materials and products in the production area, according to established guidelines, ensuring timely availability of materials to meet production schedules. He/she will also be responsible for the review of the Kanban, reporting any malfunctioning of the racks as well as the lack of identification. In addition, he/she will be responsible for loading and unloading materials using electric and/or manual pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment. CNC Programmer

Position Summary The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and improving Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programs for 3\-4 axis lathes and vertical/horizontal/multi\-axis machines under minimal supervision. Products typically start in steel bar stock or casting form. The position requires knowledge in horizontal/vertical milling, and 4 axis lathes with live tooling. This position will also be able to perform set\-ups and proving out programs under minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:* Design, develop, and prove out programs that will machine complex geometry to close tolerances on multi\-axis machining centers (CNC 3\-4 axis lathes, vertical/horizontal/multi\-axis machines). * Develop most efficient/reliable manufacturing process for best material removal. * Ability to set up and operate numerically controlled machines as needed. * Recommend and set up all tools, fixtures and programs for new jobs and improve current tools as needed. * Maintain and procure tool crib inventory. * Check and maintain oil, fluid levels and pressures. * Adjust machine to control part dimensions. * Instruct machine operators on operating and programming methods. * Document procedures such as set up sheets, tooling library, etc. * Plan day\-to\-day activities and take individual initiative in performing daily workflow. * Communicate internally with contacts outside the work group to exchange work\-related information. * Furnish or obtain factual information over the telephone, in writing, or in person with external contacts.
