Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Resident responsible for the technical, operational, and safe execution of fieldwork, leading teams and resolving issues in industrial projects. Focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance We seek a **Construction Resident** responsible for ensuring the technical, operational, and safe execution of fieldwork (piping, welding, structures, and supports), complying with quality, safety, and schedule standards established in **CFE** projects. **Main Responsibilities** **Technical Execution** * Supervision of industrial piping assembly and disassembly * Validation of support and structural assembly, alignment, and adjustment * Coordination of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW) * Interpretation of drawings, isometrics, and technical documentation (WPS, PQR, WPQ) **Personnel Management** * Leadership of crews (pipers, welders, TIG welders, riggers) * Assignment of tasks and performance monitoring * Resolution of on-site conflicts **Control and Monitoring** * Preparation of daily reports and logbooks * Tracking of progress versus schedule * Coordination with CFE supervision **Industrial Safety** * Implementation of NOM-STPS regulations * Supervision of work permits and risk analysis * Control of PPE usage **Problem Solving** * Addressing misalignments and interferences * Making technical decisions on-site * Timely escalation of incidents **Technical Knowledge** * ASME B31.1 / B31.3 standards * ASME Section IX * SMAW and GTAW welding processes * Drawing interpretation * Non-destructive testing (VT, RT, PT) * ASTM A106, A234 WPB materials **Requirements** * Engineering or related technical degree * Minimum **5 years’ experience in industrial projects** * Experience in CFE or similar projects * Valid driver’s license * Availability for flexible hours and travel **Skills** * Operational leadership * Effective communication * Decision-making under pressure * Organization and results orientation **Performance Indicators** * Schedule adherence * Productivity * Zero incidents * Minimal rework * Inspection quality Focused on real-world field execution, team leadership, and problem resolution in demanding industrial environments.
