Summary Coordinate and supervise engineering activities related to CNC machining processes, ensuring optimization of cycle times, part quality, and compliance with automotive industry standards. Act as a liaison between production, maintenance, quality, and product design, guaranteeing continuous improvement and the implementation of new technologies in the machining area. Tasks and responsibilities \- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reducing scrap, downtime, and tooling costs. \- Participate in new product development (NPI), ensuring manufacturability (DFM) and compliance with critical tolerances. \- Implement and maintain process standardization under automotive standards (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP). \- Coordinate pilot trials and process validation with quality, production, and maintenance departments. \- Manage CNC programs on the central server, ensuring version control and traceability. \- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of equipment, cutting tools, and programming software (CAM). \- Train technical staff and operators on new technologies or implemented processes. \- Report key performance indicators (OEE, scrap, cycle times, improvement plan compliance).
