




The Plant Wellbeing, Health and Safety (WHS) Manager position is responsible for leading wellbeing, health and safety activities, primarily ensuring the health and safety of employees and promoting the wellbeing of the employees in Stellantis. In addition, the Manager position serves as the key advisor to plant management on the implementation and management of wellbeing, health \& safety initiatives designed to promote and achieve Proactive status in SPW Wellbeing, Health and Safety area. The WHS Plant Manager will report to the HR Manager of the location and dotted line to the Division Lead in the Corporate WHS Staff. Job responsibilities include, and are not limited to the following: * Direct and implement wellbeing, health and safety processes designed to improve key performance metrics * Ensure compliance to federal, state, provincial and local regulations, and Corporate Policies and Procedures * Lead the Safety SPW Domain as applicable * Direct and implement standardized WHS assessments and programs to address needed training * Audit WHS processes and provide necessary follow up to ensure compliance * Oversee and implement root cause analysis of safety incidents/accidents and facilitate implementation of corrective action measures * Oversee and implement requirements for new equipment programs with engineering/facilities * Lead implementation/integration of ergonomic processes * Manage and complete the timely submission of documentation, reports, permit applications, inventories and surveys to appropriate government and regulatory agencies * Coordinate communication of WHS regulatory activity with plant and corporate leadership * Direct and implement/sustain ISO45001 through E2HS System. * Coordinate Wellbeing \& Health activities at the plant through the Medical Service, ensuring compliance to related regulatory requirements. * Manage WHS department technical and professional resources to ensure compliance with corporate programs and legal requirements. * Support all shifts and work additional hours as required Requirements: Basic qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Science, Chemical field or related field * Minimum of 10 years Safety, Environmental, Engineering or related experience * Strong understanding and application of federal, state, provincial, and local safety regulations and requirements * Effective written and verbal communication (Spanish \& English), excellent presentation skills * Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and /or other software applications Preferred qualifications: * Master's degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, Science or related field * Automotive or manufacturing experience * Strong knowledge on WHS Report databases such as SPARC.
