




**Peace Fund** We are a non-profit institution that promotes community development in rural communities, mostly indigenous, living in poverty and extreme poverty. Today we serve over 42,000 people across 110 communities in 5 states of the Mexican Republic. The development we promote seeks to strengthen capacities and generate a culture of self-management and sustainability in the communities where we work. **Position Objective:** · Generate community participation and organization through PDCS implementation **Requirements:** * High school diploma * Experience working in the field with rural communities * Basic Office skills * Effective communication * Ability to work autonomously * Group management skills * In-depth knowledge of the region required * Local social and environmental context understanding * Community organization experience * **Work location: San Sebastián Nicananduta**, **Oaxaca.** **Responsibilities:** · Implement PDCS in assigned localities. · Promote participation and community organization within assigned communities to develop projects aligned with PDCS. · Establish a network of Community Promoters in the served localities, train them, and supervise their tasks to create the operational arm of the organization and the framework ensuring PDCS sustainability. · Monitor community projects, ensuring established objectives are met and promoting best practices in community organization. · Timely report project status, especially if any difficulties arise during execution, organization, logistics, or community engagement. · Coordinate the receipt and distribution of materials, tools, and supplies for various projects, properly recording all movements to ensure resources are directly allocated to beneficiary families according to established criteria. · Maintain close communication and relationships with authorities, community leaders, and key figures, keeping them informed about project progress and challenges, and collaboratively developing solutions to enhance the impact of implemented actions. · Organize and establish any necessary community committees or commissions for optimal PDCS development. **We Offer** * Direct contract with Peace Fund * 1-year contract with indefinite extension option * Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday * Monthly gross salary of 10,500k, statutory benefits (social security – IMSS, vacation, vacation bonus, Christmas bonus) and FPP benefits Job type: Full-time, Fixed-term or project-based Contract duration: 12 months Salary: $10,500.00 per month Workplace: On-site
