**Job Overview** We are seeking a junior accountant to support the daily accounting operations of our North America region, including Mexico and the United States. This role will focus on transactional accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and reconciliations), while providing opportunities to assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation. **Key Responsibilities** *Transactional Accounting* * Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments. * Maintain accounts receivable records, prepare customer statements, and support collections follow-up. * Review employee expense reports to verify accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements. * Record general ledger entries in Epicor ERP. *Month-End Close and Reporting* * Assist with monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. * Support the preparation of internal reports for U.S. and Canada SG\&A entities. * Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits. *Processes and Regulatory Compliance* * Ensure transactions comply with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures. * Maintain organized financial records and support the finance manager on ad-hoc projects. * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 0 to 3 years of accounting experience. *Recent graduates welcome!* * Knowledge of basic accounting principles (familiarity with GAAP/IFRS is a plus). * Strong Excel skills; experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems is a plus. * Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. * Strong communication skills; proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. **What We Offer** * Hands-on accounting experience in operations across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. * Training and mentorship from experienced financial professionals. * Growth opportunities into senior accountant or analyst roles. * A collaborative and international work environment. * Benefits exceeding legal requirements. **Work Schedule** * Monday to Thursday; 7:30am to 5:30pm * Friday; 7am to 3pm Employment type: Full-time Benefits: * Major medical insurance * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers Language: * English (Desirable) Work Location: On-site
