Job Summary: A company specializing in wood packaging and palletizing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery. 2. Detect and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures. 3. Support general repair activities in the plant. A company dedicated to wood packaging and palletizing—specializing in the manufacture of pallets and related products—is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team. The purpose of this position is to ensure the proper operation, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the production process, guaranteeing operational continuity and facility safety. Main Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery (e.g., saws, presses, automatic nailers, compressors, forklifts, etc.). Detect and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures. Participate in equipment installation, adjustment, and improvement. Maintain maintenance records and technical reports. Support general plant repair activities (lighting, wiring, tools). Comply with workplace safety and housekeeping regulations. Requirements: Education: Technical degree in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, mechanics, or related field. Minimum 6 months of industrial maintenance experience, including professional internships (preferably in manufacturing companies or the wood industry). Knowledge of industrial electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to diagnose failures and work under pressure. Availability to rotate shifts or work overtime as required.
