Position Summary: We are seeking a unit inspector responsible for tracking, inspecting, and controlling tractor-trailers, including monitoring mileage, diesel levels, and reporting damages. Key Highlights: 1. General tracking and inspection of tractor-trailers in the inbound and outbound yard. 2. Effective communication with department heads and on-site managers. 3. Completion of logbooks and preparation of damage reports. **UNIT CONTROL** ACTIVITIES: Track tractor-trailers in the inbound and outbound yard, where mileage traveled, diesel level, and general vehicle condition must be inspected. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Maintain effective communication with the Department Head and/or SJI On-Site Manager. * Report any anomalies detected in the units. * Inspect tractors and trailers. * Complete logbooks. * Prepare damage reports. **REQUIREMENTS** * Basic Microsoft Office software knowledge * No age restrictions * No gender restrictions * Minimum education required Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $11,800.00 - $11,801.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Savings fund * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers * Restaurant vouchers Application Question(s): * Are you available to work rotating 12-hour shifts? * In which area of San José Iturbide do you reside?
