Job Summary: This role aims to ensure product and process quality through methodologies such as LPA, FMEA, 8D, and risk analysis, leading audits and promoting continuous improvement. Promote a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen) **What your day will look like** You will be responsible for ensuring product and process quality by implementing and monitoring methodologies including LPA (Layered Process Audit), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), 8D (Problem Resolution Methodology), and risk and opportunity analysis. Your objective is to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with established quality standards in the manufacturing of dry-type transformers at the León Plant. **Your responsibilities** * Lead Layered Process Audits (LPA): * Plan, conduct, and document layered process audits. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of audits. * Analyze audit results and present reports to senior management. * Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA): * Conduct FMEA to identify and assess risks associated with processes and products. * Collaborate with design and production teams to implement preventive and corrective actions. * Maintain up-to-date FMEA records and ensure their integration into the product lifecycle. * 8D Problem Resolution Methodology: * Facilitate application of the 8D method to address complex and recurring problems. * Coordinate teams to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. * Document the 8D process and communicate results to stakeholders. * Risk and Opportunity Analysis (ROA): * Identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks and opportunities in processes and products. * Develop action plans to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. * Monitor effectiveness of implemented actions and adjust as necessary. * Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): * Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. * Identify and propose improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency and quality. * Train and guide other employees in quality practices and problem-solving techniques. **Requirements for the position** * Education: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering. * Professional Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar quality-related role. * Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.), data analysis and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, proficiency in IT tools and quality management software. * Languages: In addition to Spanish, English at B2 level (Cambridge). * Skills / Competencies: Analytical and critical thinking, results orientation, leadership capability and ability to work under pressure, capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, executive reporting to management **About the team** The selected candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including design, warehouse, procurement, and manufacturing to efficiently and clearly gather information and achieve the synergy required by the company. **What is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than an energy technology company.
