Coordinate and represent the company before authorities and regulatory agencies A national construction-sector company specializing in the development and execution of construction projects nationwide is seeking: **LEGAL AFFAIRS LAWYER FOR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY** **Purpose of the Position:** Comprehensively manage and monitor all legal, administrative, and regulatory procedures required for the proper operation of construction projects, ensuring regulatory compliance with federal, state, and municipal authorities, thereby minimizing legal risks and avoiding on-site delays. **Employment Offer:** * Monthly salary: $35,000 net * Benefits: As mandated by law * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * Location: Coyoacán, Mexico City * Work Modality: On-site * Willingness to travel to various construction sites nationwide * Reports to: Legal Department / Administrative Department **Essential Requirements:** **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Law (degree certificate and professional license mandatory). **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in legal affairs for construction or real estate development companies. * Experience handling procedures with IMSS, INFONAVIT, and CONAVI. * Management of construction permits, land-use authorizations, and municipal and state permits. * Knowledge of labor, housing, and social security regulations applicable to construction projects. * Full availability for frequent travel. **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * Procedures for employer registration, worker enrollment, and project closure with IMSS. * Processes and procedures before INFONAVIT and CONAVI. * Construction permits, licenses, and governmental authorizations. * Labor and social security regulations applicable to the construction sector. * Control and safekeeping of legal files for construction projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage IMSS-related procedures concerning employer registration, worker enrollment, and project closure. * Monitor processes before INFONAVIT and CONAVI. * Process construction permits, licenses, and authorizations required for each project. * Coordinate land-use, alignment, and official number procedures. * Obtain environmental, municipal, and state permits as required per project. * Compile, update, and safeguard legal files for each construction project. * Address observations, inspections, and requests from authorities. * Coordinate with internal departments for submission of required documentation and information. * Attend audits, reviews, and visits by governmental agencies. * Monitor expiration and renewal deadlines for permits. * Support regularization of existing projects. * Promptly report legal risks or delays arising from procedural matters. * Coordinate with external law firms when necessary. * Represent the company before governmental authorities and regulatory agencies. * Maintain updated controls and reporting on legal affairs management. * Comply with internal guidelines and applicable regulations. * Perform additional duties inherent to the position as assigned by management.
