Job Description: Technical Support Engineer \- KubeMQ and Kubernetes Position Summary We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and continuous incident resolution of our messaging infrastructure. The primary focus will be managing and supporting KubeMQ within a native Kubernetes environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical bridge between infrastructure and development, diagnosing issues in microservice architectures and ensuring seamless integration with Java Spring Boot microservices and Oracle databases. Main Responsibilities * KubeMQ Support and Administration. Provide technical support (L1/L2\) for KubeMQ clusters, ensuring correct message delivery, queue management, Pub/Sub channels, and RPC patterns. * Monitoring and Observability. Actively monitor the performance and health of the message broker using Grafana. Create, maintain, and optimize dashboards, and configure proactive alerts to prevent service disruptions. * Integration Diagnostics. Analyze and resolve communication failures and latency issues between the KubeMQ broker and Java Spring Boot microservices. * Traceability. Track the message lifecycle from emission to consumption, identifying bottlenecks, failed transactions, or data inconsistencies. * Incident Management (Troubleshooting). Analyze Kubernetes container logs (pods, deployments) to identify root causes (RCA) of service outages or degradation, collaborating closely with development, database, and DevOps teams. * Documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge base entries covering recovery procedures, KubeMQ configurations, and resolutions for recurring issues. Technical Requirements * Kubernetes (Advanced). Strong hands-on experience operating, administering, and diagnosing applications deployed on Kubernetes. Proficient use of kubectl and solid understanding of K8s network architecture. * Message Brokers. In-depth knowledge of asynchronous messaging patterns. Prior operational experience with KubeMQ is required; alternatively, proven and substantial experience with similar brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) and strong adaptability is acceptable.
