Job Summary: Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency through analysis and optimization of manufacturing and Supply Chain processes, leading the implementation of Lean methodologies. Manage improvement projects focused on efficiency **Hershey's México** ***El Salto Plant, Jalisco*** **Job Purpose** **Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and margin expansion at the plant through analysis and optimization of manufacturing and Supply Chain processes, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Lead the implementation of Lean methodologies and support strategic capital projects.** **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze manufacturing and management processes to identify losses, non-value-added activities, and downtime. * Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, service, and cost. * Identify, track, and monitor annual pipeline savings projects. * Support line start-ups, equipment optimization, and capital projects. * Develop, document, and implement Lean methodologies (Hershey Lean / TPM). * Lead Kaizen events and track key metrics. * Drive Lean pillars with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, EHS). * Manage improvement projects focused on plant efficiency. * Collaborate with Project Engineering to ensure designs meet requirements for productivity, ergonomics, safety, and maintainability. * Support loss analysis, savings definition, and financial justification for capital project approvals. **Required Knowledge** * Industrial Engineering and fundamentals of process engineering * Lean Manufacturing / Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) * TPM, SMED, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Line Balancing * Manufacturing and packaging processes * SAP LPR * Quality principles and process control * Basic finance * Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * Interpretation of engineering documentation * Ergonomics and regulatory compliance * Fluent English (spoken and written) **Skills and Competencies** * Results-oriented * Team and project leadership * Analytical and systemic thinking * Problem solving and decision making * Change management * Cross-functional collaboration * Effective communication **Education** Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Process Engineering, or related field. **Experience** * **4 to 7 years** in manufacturing environments (food industry preferred). * Proven experience implementing Lean Six Sigma tools. * Experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or quality assurance. * International experience desirable. **Work Schedule** * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. **Benefits:** * Transportation route * Monthly salary of 40,000 \- 45,000 Mexican pesos * 30-day year-end bonus * 12 days of paid vacation at 100% * Savings fund capped at 13% * Grocery vouchers at 10% * OHIP performance and business results bonus at 5% * Major medical expense insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Life insurance * Pension plan If you are interested and meet the requirements, don’t hesitate to apply!
