Professional training and development Ediciones Dabar is a Mexican publishing house dedicated to producing print and digital educational content on faith, theology, spirituality, values, and human development, with nationwide presence across Mexico. Position Objective: To execute, plan, coordinate, and supervise all stages of editorial production—particularly those related to training, book design, and development—ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of projects through efficient resource optimization. Additionally, to manage collaboration with designers, authors, editors, layout artists, printers, and other stakeholders involved in the process, aligning all activities with the company’s strategic objectives. **Main Responsibilities**: * Design and develop visual proposals for editorial publications (books) in both print and digital formats. * Perform or supervise adjustments to book layout, typesetting, and design. * Create and review final files for printing or digital distribution, ensuring visual and technical quality. * Implement and manage design tools and software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI. * Participate in the review and optimization of graphic and design materials. * Ensure consistency and application of visual guidelines across all publications. * Plan and coordinate the editorial production calendar, guaranteeing on-time and accurate delivery. * Supervise the workflow from manuscript receipt to final product delivery. * Monitor editorial quality at every stage of the project. **Candidate Profile** Age: 30–40 years. Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree in design, communications, editorial administration, or related field * Additional training: editorial production, advanced graphic design Experience: * 5–7 years in designing, typesetting, and producing printed books. Knowledge: * Advanced proficiency in design tools (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). * Editorial processes: editing, proofreading, design, and graphic production. * Editorial style guidelines and visual quality standards. * Editorial project management. * Basic cost control and budgeting. * Familiarity with digital distribution platforms and online publishing (eBooks, print-on-demand). * Use of AI-powered content creation tools. * Proficiency in basic office tools: Excel, Word, Outlook.
