Position Summary: Plan, coordinate, and ensure plastic product manufacturing, guaranteeing adherence to production schedules, quality standards, efficiency, and on-time delivery while optimizing resources. Resource optimization and continuous improvement. **General Position Objective** Plan, coordinate, and ensure the production of plastic products (clamshells, boxes, manholes, corrugated pipe, and electrical products), guaranteeing compliance with the production schedule, quality standards, process efficiency, industrial safety, scrap control, and on-time delivery, while optimizing resources, labor, machinery, and raw materials. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and execute the daily/weekly production schedule. * Ensure achievement of volume, quality, and delivery timelines. * Coordinate machine startups, mold changes, color changes, and process parameter adjustments. * Supervise proper equipment setup. * Monitor raw material consumption, dosing, blending, and use of recycled material per specifications. * Monitor and reduce scrap, rework, and returns due to defects. * Ensure production release by Quality and compliance with dimensional and functional specifications. * Implement and monitor operating instructions, process sheets, and work standards. Track production indicators: OEE, efficiency, productivity per shift, scrap, downtime, and plan adherence. * Coordinate material flow with warehouse: requisitions, receipts/issuances, inventory levels, and minimum stock levels. **Requirements:** * Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Process Engineering degree (or related field). * Experience: 3 to 6 years in plastic manufacturing (injection molding, extrusion, and/or corrugation). **Essential Knowledge:** * Processes: Plastic injection molding, extrusion, corrugation, molds, and machine parameters. * Raw materials: PP, HDPE, PVC, or others (as applicable per line), pigments, masterbatch, recycled material. Production planning and control (MPS, OEE, line balancing). * Quality: Inspection, release, non-conformities, traceability, 5 Whys, 8D. * Safety: LOTO, chemical handling, PPE, risk analysis, order and cleanliness. Autonomous maintenance and coordination with corrective and preventive maintenance. Lean / continuous improvement: 5S, Kaizen, SMED, standardization. * Tools: Excel, ERP (preferred), production reports, KPIs. * Availability to rotate shifts and respond to production contingencies.
