We are bridging two worlds—advancing toward more sustainable energy sources while simultaneously helping provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed today. **Position Objective:** Provides on-site construction expertise during project construction phases to interpret designs, adjust designs to meet site conditions, oversee construction supervision, and provide final approval of completed construction tasks to ensure construction complies with design specifications. Develop and maintain construction practices for the project. Control and coordinate construction activities to ensure assigned projects are delivered to client satisfaction and in accordance with safety, quality, time and budget parameters. **PERSONNEL REQUIRED FOR SHIFT ROLES (DAY, EVENING AND NIGHT SHIFTS) / 3-MONTH PROJECT** **Key Responsibilities:** * The compression/measurement station supervisor reports directly to the Construction Manager and works closely with all disciplines of the project team. * Manage and coordinate construction discrepancies with contractors to achieve schedule and deliverables for all construction tasks executed within agreed scope of work and specifications. * Receive, verify, assemble, inspect dynamic and static equipment (turbo-compressors, pumps, metering skids, coolers, etc.). * Supervise and verify pre-installation equipment work, foundation verification, surface preparation, installation of shims, grout placement and curing (cementitious and epoxy). * Supervision of directional bore crossings. * Planning, supervision, execution of Hot tap and Cold tap interconnections. * Manage and coordinate pipe prefabrication shop activities. * Manage and coordinate field piping assembly activities. * Planning, supervision, and execution of gas pipelines. * Supervise field activities, comply with construction project requirements, and ensure alignment with operation and maintenance policies and requirements. Specifically, verify compliance with all requirements related to hot work or work near operational facilities. Lead ongoing work processes, representing the O&M team. Communicate any changes, requirements, or restrictions imposed by the O&M team. * Advanced knowledge and experience in gas facility construction. In-depth understanding of gas facility operations. Basic knowledge of construction techniques such as welding, coating, commissioning of facilities, etc. * Knowledge of LOTO procedures. * Assist in identifying and quantifying variations in work scope. * Inspect and receive materials supplied by the client and report on their usage. * Work closely with the project team and contractors to ensure completion of works according to design, specifications and required regulations. **What will you bring?** **Software, processes and tools:** * Outlook * Office * Excel * Daily reporting **Language:** Spanish, technical English reading. **Sector:** Oil \& Gas **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** * Experience in industrial projects involving gas pipelines, compression/measurement stations in existing areas, IPC/IPCM, mechanical piping construction discipline, receiving, verifying, assembling, inspecting dynamic and static equipment—turbo-compressors, pumps, metering skids, coolers, etc.—directional crossings, planning, supervision, execution of Hot tap and Cold tap interconnections, coordinating pipe prefabrication shop activities, on-site piping assembly.
