Employment Type: Full-time Permanent position with full statutory benefits Working Hours: Monday to Friday · 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch break) Salary: MXN $18,000 – $20,000 gross per month (depending on experience and level) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field Experience: Minimum 2 years in PLC programming and commissioning of industrial control systems JOB OBJECTIVE Design, program, implement, and monitor automated control systems for the company’s active projects—from technical requirement gathering with the customer through to plant commissioning—ensuring compliance with technical specifications, timelines, and safety standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Technical requirement gathering with customers: understanding automation requirements, process analysis, and scope definition. • Selection of electrical and electronic components for control systems according to specifications and budget. • Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and devices. • PLC programming in Ladder, FBD, and SCL languages, based on the platform required by the project. • HMI screen programming and configuration for process monitoring and operation. • On-site installation and commissioning of automated systems at the customer’s facility. • Preparation and review of electrical schematics using EPLAN or equivalent software. • Field troubleshooting and fault resolution during and after commissioning. • Technical coordination with mechanical design teams for electromechanical system integration. • Technical documentation: calculation reports, operation manuals, and as\-built drawings per project. REQUIRED PLATFORMS AND TOOLS MANDATORY • TIA Portal (Siemens S7\-1200 / S7\-1500\) • STEP 7 / Simatic Manager • Ladder, FBD, and SCL programming • Siemens HMI configuration and programming • EPLAN Electric P8 (basic design and review) Desirable: • Allen Bradley (Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000\) • Industrial communications: Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP • Variable frequency drives and servo drives • Basic machine vision • IEC 61131\-3 and NFPA 79 standards
Requirements
* Required academic level: Bachelor’s degree
* Academic status: Graduated
* Required field of study (or related): Mechatronics
* Experience: 1 \- 2 years as a PLC PROGRAMMER
* Knowledge and tools:
