Essential Functions * Ensure hygiene and organization of the work area, materials, and supplies prior to any food handling. * Support assigned mise en place preparations. * Assist in executing recipes/processes thoroughly and disciplinedly; if uncertain, promptly seek assistance. * Support food preparation during food service with precision, urgency, and discipline. * Actively assist in organizing all food storage areas. * Verify that supplies are in optimal condition. * Prepare your mise en place in advance and to the required quality standards before food service begins. Knowledge and Skills **Education** * High school diploma or technical degree in gastronomy **Experience:** * One (1) to three (3) years of experience in this position * One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment (Not mandatory, but considered a plus) **Skills** * Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing Spanish. * Understanding and familiarity with hotel quality and service standards. * Highest level of integrity and transparency * Applying an ethical approach to resolving situations. * Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. * Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities * Working safely, prudently, and in an organized manner.
