Job Summary: Responsible for verifying and monitoring the printing process, ensuring material quality and compliance with customer specifications. Key Highlights: 1. Printing process monitoring 2. Material quality verification 3. Production closure authorization Responsibilities Performs accounting and reconciliation of materials for each batch upon entry into the press. Verifies, according to production order requirements, that inks, varnishes, and pre-identified printing plates are ready. Verifies substrate gauge, dimensions, and type against the work order and customer specification (using a micrometer). Manually verifies settings for each production run and approves the process. Monitors the printing process; in case non-conforming products are found, alerts the printer to implement the appropriate corrective action. Verifies window dimensions without varnish per customer specification where applicable. Verifies shot registration against the die-cut positive and records approval for printing startup on the work order. Conducts random sampling during the printing and varnishing processes and supervises recording on the work order. Issues an assessment of material condition; verifies that once a pallet is assembled, the color-coded traffic light indicator is placed to signal the next process (color-coded labels for different processes). If the order is not completed, verifies material replenishment and ensures proper follow-up per the requested requirement. Tracks specific requirements and authorizes production closure on the work order (approvals).
