Position: **Blacksmithing Department Head** Location: Federal Highway Mexico–Cuautla km 41.5, Ozumba de Alzate, State of Mexico * OZUMBA ZONE Live near the Ozumba area, State of Mexico. **Required Profile:** Technical High School Diploma / Technical Degree **Experience:** Minimum 3 years supervising and directly performing blacksmithing work. **Knowledge:** * Design and construction of components. * Analysis and interpretation of blueprints. * Knowledge of safety standards (working at heights, cutting, and welding). * Development of sketches or drafts for projects. * Knowledge of techniques for operating cutting and welding equipment. * Use of workshop tools (oxyacetylene cutting, welding, drilling, grinding, among others). **Key Responsibilities:** **GENERAL OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Coordinate and manage personnel under supervision, as well as material resources across all plant projects, always meeting agreed delivery deadlines. * Guide and advise the work team on optimal design for metallic structure requests submitted by any organizational department. * Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during performance of duties by both the incumbent and their team. * Supervise appropriate handling of corrective and preventive maintenance contingencies. * Comply with organizational policies and procedures, as well as the 5S program. * Supervise and manage high-risk tasks. **POSITION-SPECIFIC OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervise that tools, equipment, and machinery are in optimal working condition at the start of each work shift. * Coordinate procurement of tools and consumables required by the department and for projects under its control. * Ensure, jointly with the work team, adherence to organizational safety protocols. * Report any malfunction of work equipment to the immediate supervisor for prompt repair. * Receive plant and project work requests to allocate human and material resources, scheduling estimated completion and delivery dates to the respective departments. * Prepare hand-drawn sketches, if necessary, to plan work requested by the production area or to address contingencies, as applicable, and formally request materials required for activities under its control. * Maintain close communication with the Maintenance Planner regarding all arising contingencies and related administrative actions. * Analyze, jointly with the Maintenance Manager, Project Manager and/or Project Coordinator, each plant project to determine required materials and delivery dates, considering priorities according to the project schedule. * Coordinate and execute installation, leveling, and anchoring, as well as air and vacuum line installation in process lines—whether for installed machinery and equipment or for new projects. * Monitor progress of each task and ensure, particularly, that daily contingencies are addressed and resolved as appropriate. * Develop the blacksmith team’s ability to effectively apply accurate knowledge in adaptations, fabrications, and plant requirements. * Support the Maintenance Head in facility-related activities aimed at preserving buildings and roofing. **Offer:** * Competitive salary * Statutory benefits * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday * On-site work. ***If you meet the profile, please send your CV to 5560663979.*** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $1.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Discounted cafeteria service * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
