Job stability Our accounting firm is seeking a Payroll Assistant interested in developing expertise in this field and experienced in managing payroll processes for multiple clients. Position Profile: Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Administration (student completing studies or graduate) Experience: * 1 to 3 years calculating payroll and operating payroll systems. Knowledge: * Basic knowledge of the Federal Labor Law (LFT), Income Tax (ISR) on salaries and wages, IMSS, and INFONAVIT * Proficiency with SUA, IDSE, and IMSS online portals * Payroll CFDI * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills * Payroll systems (e.g., CONTPAQi, NOI) Responsibilities: · Calculate and process payroll (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) · Determine earnings, deductions, taxes, and employer-employee contributions · Calculate ISR and withholdings in accordance with the Tax Administration Service (SAT) regulations · Generate payroll receipts (payroll CFDI) · Manage attendance incidents: absences, tardiness, medical leaves, vacations, overtime, etc. · Process employee onboarding, offboarding, and salary modifications with the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) · Calculate and submit social security and related tax payments · Reconcile payroll with accounting records · Support internal and external payroll audits · Prepare payroll reports and labor cost analyses · Administer severance pay and final settlements We Offer: · Competitive statutory benefits · Ongoing training · Professional growth · Job stability Salary: $14,000.00 – $16,000.00 per month Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree (preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
