Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead the risk strategy, optimize policies, and manage portfolios at a leading financial company. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the risk strategy and contribute to business scalability. 2. Design and implement credit origination policies and risk matrices. 3. Lead modeling and scorecard processes, and develop teams. Workana is supporting the search for a Risk Manager for a leading financial company expanding regionally. The role targets professionals with solid experience in credit analysis, risk modeling, origination policies, and portfolio management who wish to lead the risk strategy in Guatemala, Mexico, or Panama, and contribute to business scalability. **Requirements** * Design, implement, and update credit origination policies and risk matrices. * Monitor key portfolio indicators: FPD, delinquency, severities, roll rates, vintages, among others. * Lead modeling and scorecard processes, including analysis, backtesting, and validation. * Coordinate with Collections teams to optimize recovery strategies. * Supervise operational controls and risk mitigation in stores and sales channels. * Ensure regulatory compliance and proper issuance of regulatory reports. * Manage direct communication with Regional and Local Management. * Lead and develop the risk team, promoting professional growth. * Actively participate in credit and risk committees. Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. * More than 5 years of experience in credit risk (fintech, consumer banking, or microfinance). * Solid knowledge of SQL, Python, or R. * Experience with local credit bureaus and alternative data sources. * Demonstrated ability to design risk policies and make data-driven decisions. * Experience leading high-impact teams or projects. * Excellent executive communication skills.
