**ILADE is seeking Maintenance Staff in Benito Juárez, Mexico City** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are you an expert in the art of sharpening and passionate about sharing your knowledge? We are looking for a professional with high technical skill and strong didactic ability to deliver our upcoming **Practical Knife Sharpening Course**. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and deliver theoretical and practical course sessions. * Teach, in a didactic manner, angle selection, use of water stones, grinders, belts, and honing techniques. * Evaluate students’ progress and ensure development of their manual skills. * Supervise and guarantee strict compliance with **safety and hygiene standards** in the workshop to prevent accidents. ### **Required Profile** * **Technical Experience:** Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in sharpening (fine cutlery, butchery, industrial kitchens, or technical workshops). * **Instructor Experience:** Prior experience delivering courses, workshops, or training staff (desirable but not mandatory if possessing exceptional verbal fluency). * **Specific Knowledge:** + Types of steel, grinding, sharpening, and edge honing. + Safe operation of machinery (electric sharpeners, water stones of various grits). + Assertive communication skills and patience for teaching. **Desired Education Level:** Higher education \- degree holder **Desired Experience Level:** Expert level **Departmental Function:** Maintenance and repairs **Industry:** Repair and maintenance **Skills:** * Group management * Didactic * Practical *This vacancy originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=6a1601824900003b001e5a96\&source\=indeed*
