Participates in improvement and optimization projects. **Maintenance Assistant** **General Purpose of the Position** Support the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on company machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure their proper operation and operational continuity. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the established plan. * Conduct basic fault diagnostics on machinery and equipment. * Assist in mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure repairs as directed. * Record performed activities in logbooks or internal systems. * Maintain work areas and tools in order, safety, and cleanliness. * Request supervisor support or report major failures to the maintenance supervisor. * Comply with industrial safety standards and personal protective equipment requirements. * Participate in maintenance-related improvement and optimization projects. **Position Profile and RequirementsEducation** * Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Electricity, or related field. **Experience** * Minimum 1 year in similar positions (preferably in industry). **Technical Knowledge** * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. * Basic knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. * Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments. * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. * Knowledge of industrial safety and hygiene standards. **Competencies and Skills** * Teamwork. * Commitment and responsibility. * Ability to follow instructions. * Proactive attitude. * Attention to detail. * Operational organization and discipline.
