Assist with plumbing, electrical work, and preventive/corrective maintenance. **JOIN OUR TEAM!** Empacadora de Carnes Altamira is seeking: Maintenance Assistant **Objective** Support the execution of maintenance programs to optimize and monitor plant facility operations. The assistant contributes to ensuring the integrity of infrastructure required for production, inventory management, and product traceability. **Work Schedule** * Monday to Saturday (Saturday half-day). **Education Requirements** * Technical high school diploma, incomplete technical degree, or vocational training (Electricity, Plumbing, or Maintenance). **Experience Requirements** * 1–2 years in similar roles, preferably in manufacturing or food industry companies. **Knowledge and Responsibilities** * **Plumbing:** Assist in leak repairs, drain maintenance, and hydraulic connections throughout the plant. * **Electrical Work:** Support basic electrical tasks, replacement of lighting fixtures, and inspection of electrical outlets in offices and plant areas. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspections of machinery and buildings to prevent failures. * **Corrective Maintenance:** Assist the lead technician in urgent repairs to ensure uninterrupted information systems and production operations. **Activities** * **Facility Support:** Provide basic technical assistance to users in production and administrative areas. * **Equipment Care:** Help supervise that equipment maintains appropriate electrical conditions for proper operation. * **Order and Cleanliness:** Maintain workshop area and tools in optimal condition to comply with sanitary standards (HACCP, TIF, etc.).
