**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Financial Analyst at TRAYECTO, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* **Comprehensive Financial Analysis:** Conduct detailed analyses of the company’s financial position, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
* **Report Preparation:** Prepare periodic and ad\-hoc financial reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
* **Tax Calculation:** Manage and oversee accurate and timely calculation of all applicable corporate taxes, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing tax burden.
* **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure all financial operations comply with current **Financial Reporting Standards (NIF)** and other applicable financial regulations.
* **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Participate in annual budget preparation and financial forecasting, conducting thorough variance analysis against budgeted results.
* **Process Optimization:** Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and propose innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* **Profitability Analysis:** Evaluate profitability of projects, products, and services, providing recommendations to maximize margins.
* **Data Management:** Collect, organize, and analyze large volumes of financial data using advanced tools.
* **Audit Support:** Actively collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing required information and support.
* **Variance Analysis:** Investigate and explain significant variances in financial results.
* **Financial Modeling:** Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
**Job Requirements:**
To succeed in this role, we seek a professional who meets the following criteria:
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s or postgraduate degree in Finance is a plus.
* **Professional Experience:** Minimum of **5 years of verifiable experience** in financial analyst roles.
* **Big Four Firm Experience:** Prior experience at top-tier audit and consulting firms such as Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst \& Young (EY), or KPMG is highly valued. This experience provides invaluable insight into international best practices and standards.
* **Technical Knowledge:**
* Strong expertise in **tax calculation** (Income Tax, VAT, etc.) and Mexican tax legislation.
* In-depth knowledge and application of **Financial Reporting Standards (NIF)**.
* Advanced proficiency in **Excel** (pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, Power Query).
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or others).
* Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
