At Fictiv, we're looking for a **Supplier Quality Engineer** to partner closely with manufacturers and elevate quality standards across a growing supplier network in Mexico. In this role, you'll act as the critical link between our manufacturing partners and customer expectations—ensuring every part meets high\-quality standards from the source. **What you'll do** * Serve as the on\-site technical quality contact for suppliers, driving process improvements in CNC machining, sheet metal, and welding * Qualify and onboard new manufacturing partners in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing team * Lead nonconformance resolution by coaching suppliers on root cause analysis and corrective actions * Conduct on\-site and remote (virtual) audits to ensure compliance with quality standards * Partner with global teams (US, China, India) to share best practices and standardize processes * Actively contribute to continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) **What makes this role different** * Direct impact on customer satisfaction and delivered product quality * Highly hands\-on—this is not a desk\-only role * Clear path to grow into a Quality leadership position in Mexico **What we're looking for** * 7\+ years of experience in manufacturing (CNC machining, sheet metal, welding) * Experience with PPAP, new product introduction, and quality documentation * Strong knowledge of core quality tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, capability studies) * Experience reviewing 8D reports and working directly with suppliers * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with GD\&T * Professional fluency in English and Spanish * Self\-driven, organized, and able to work independently * Internal Auditor certification (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949\) is a plus **What you can expect** * Exposure to a global manufacturing ecosystem * A mix of on\-site supplier engagement and remote collaboration * A fast\-paced environment where your ideas drive real change **About Fictiv** Fictiv is transforming how the next rockets, self\-driving cars, and life\-saving robots are designed, developed, and delivered to customers around the world.
