Promote continuous improvement and Lean strategies **Position Summary** Responsible for overseeing the production (manufacturing and assembly) of products within their operation, ensuring both quality and timely delivery. This role guarantees the achievement of the operational and financial objectives established by the organization. Additionally, it involves projecting the monthly progress of each area along with its process capacity, and implementing strategies aligned with sales targets and customer service goals. **Responsibilities** * Review, evaluate, and ensure compliance with production plans to guarantee demand fulfillment and customer satisfaction. * Design, analyze, and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) reports that represent business performance. * Ensure that production supervisors prepare personnel movement forms (terminations, shift changes, line changes, department transfers, etc.). * Together with supervisors and cell leaders, check the orders of the day, next three days, * Identify and prioritize orders that can be moved from the following month when the established financial target is not met. * Carry out and update auditing of layers, give support to the auditors in the closing of actions. * Review the backlog weekly and establish orders at risk due to capacity, lack of material or process. * Actively participate and provide solutions when applied with the staff in silver projects. * Audit hour by hour format in all areas. * Promote and maintain the 5S program in the manufacturing area. * Ensure compliance with quality specifications in the manufacturing processes under your responsibility. * Establish and encourage effective communication between work shifts through visual and verbal aids. * Evaluate process capacity within your areas of responsibility. * Promote continuous improvement through monitoring the HPT teams. * Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, as well as corrective maintenance when necessary. * Conduct Lean follow\-up; actively participate in and lead the plant’s LEAN MUST DO strategy (HPT, TIB, VSM, and Layers Audit). * Monitor training of operate team members and ensuring their certification. * Support safety compliance procedures, including brigades, safety committees, etc. * Additionally, all related activities and similar responsibilities that, by the nature of the work, are inherent to the position. **Qualifications** **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline. * Personnel management, 6\+ years of experience in line balancing, production programming, teamwork, and leading high\-performance groups. * Advanced English. * Management of unionized personnel. * Lean knowledge. * Knowledge of plastic injection machines. * Training of new staff. * Lead new projects. * Organized * Strong interpersonal skills. * Analytical * Ability to handle conflicts. * Strong communication skills. **Parker Hannifin** Parker Hannifin can be found on and around everything that moves.
